Course 1 - CDM (2015) Management Principles for Duty Holders

CDM (2015) Management Principles is a comprehensive e-Learning course aimed at providing an introduction for individuals who perform CDM duty holder roles. This course is for following CDM duty holders:

  • Designers
  • Principal Contractors
  • Contractors

This RoSPA approved e-Learning course is structured around ten modules:

  2. How a CDM project works
  3. Risk Assessment process in a CDM project
  4. Assessing & managing CDM team competency
  5. Pre-construction information
  6. Design risk assessment case study
  7. Construction phase plan
  8. Construction phase plan - site health & safety arrangements
  9. Construction Plan – site specific risks
  10. Construction Phase Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS)

Course 2 - CDM (2015) Awareness – all workers

CDM (2015) Awareness is a shorter course that aims to provide all construction workers with an understanding of how they can contribute to effective safety management. A key requirement of CDM (2015) is for worker consultation and collaboration.

This course is for following CDM Duty Holders:

  • Workers
  • Manager & supervisors who do not perform formal CDM duty holder roles

This RoSPA approved e-Learning course is structured around three modules:

  1. Introduction to CDM 2015 Regulations
  2. How a CDM project works
  3. Risk Assessment process in a CDM project

The need for all workers to have good awareness of CDM principle that they are the ones who will have to bring building designs and safety controls into life. Without their active participation then no amount of planning will ensure a safe project.
