We have been asked by many of our customers for a UKATA approved asbestos awareness course because this benchmark is instantly recognised wherever their employees go. We believe that this e-Learning course now offers a new and highly convenient means for our customers to meet this important training need.

This development is part of our ongoing process of achieving the most comprehensive range of independently verified health and safety-based courses. In addition to UKATA, we also have a large library of RoSPA and IOSH accredited e-Learning programmes. This provides our customers with unrivalled reassurance of the quality of our training courses ”

The Human Focus Asbestos Awareness course can be taken on any desktop PC or mobile – including Apple and Android devices. e-Learning is now becoming an increasingly popular way of completing this type of accredited qualification.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have stated: “HSE recognises the use of e-Learning as a viable delivery method, among others, for asbestos awareness training, provided it satisfies the requirements of Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the supporting Approved Code of Practice L143 "Managing and working with asbestos“.

The UKATA accredited Asbestos Awareness course from Human Focus meets this legislative requirement. It is a legal requirement that any employee, who may come across asbestos in their day-to-day work should be provided with asbestos awareness training. Any organisation that has contractors on their premises, where there might be asbestos must also ensure that they have evidence of asbestos awareness training.
